Primal (2009) - Blu-ray Forum

Anybody have this disc?

I picked it up from Amazon UK since this site has it confirmed region free, but it freezes up on my US PS3 after the "out now" screen. Can anybody confirm if there is SD content prior to the menu screen.

I just ordered this and thought it was US compatable because of what is stated here but read a review on another site:
"Despite being a region-free release, this arrives on Blu-ray with a 1080i/50 encodement, so if you’re not in a Region B area or don’t have the appropriate equipment capable of handling this resolution, then you shouldn’t purchase this disc."

Yeah I ordered it too because it is listed as region free. I get the same problem. What is odd is I contacted Kaleidoscope and they claimed it should not have any issues. They even sent me another one along with a free copy of Night of the Demons on Bluray. The second copy doesn't work either but NOTD does. At least them sending me NOTD makes up for the money I put into it. Though they were slow at getting back to me they did respond and sent me a letter and everything.

I have this and I've watched it a couple of times, no problems. Both of my BD players are Region A (both Sony).
