Default To wear sandals or not to wear sandals???

That is the question. Anyone notice in Alexander Revisted that Anthony Hopkins in the beginning of the movie has on sandals and then walks into a room only to be barefoot. A glitch in continuity I would think....

Yeah.. I didn't like it. And I'm usually a big fan of any movie from around that era.

Worse than Transformers? Don't think so.

Worse than Battlefield Earth, Son of the Mask, Phat Girlz, You Got Served, Gigli, or Delta Farce? I think not.

Highlander 2: The Quickening. I left the theater in under 20 minutes. I walked out of the Firm too. The latter was my fault. I should know not to read a book before movie.

Hmmm. While not god's gift to cinema, Alexander is certainly FAR superior to Troy, whatever cut it is;

I don't understand the venom towards this movie. Stone is very very true to many sources on Alexander, and loosely follows the plot layed out by Mary Renault in her masterpiece "The Young Persian".

Is this venom due to the accents? For a non-english native, I loved the fact accents were forced to portray the different dialects of ancient greek; It gives even more autenticity to the characters and the settings. Production values are sky-high. Soundtrack is fabulous. Rosario Dawson is God.

What are you people smoking?

I most definetely DON'T want it.

Alexander Revisited is on its way, ordered as soon as it became available.

As for your tasteless opinions, well, like we say in my country... "Everyone has a vag**a, and when they want to use it, they use it." (Think about it)

And adding: I have walked out (most recentely) of Shrek 3 (loved the first two, hated this one), and Pirates 3 (trash) I almost walked out of Transformers after the disaster the John Turturro character showed up: what a pointless sub-plot

J.

While Pirates 3 wasnt the first, it was still a good movie...and with you wanting to walk out of Transformers....you obviously are all over whatever everyone else is smoking.

Wow, has this post been derailed.

I liked Transformers but I didn't go there expecting story, plot or acting so I wouldn't be disappointed. I'd buy it in Blu to support Blu but I didn't like it enough to even rent it in DVD.
