Is it coming out in the UK aswell then?

Warner don't seem to release much of their cartoon stuff here on Blu-ray.

Nothing on a UK release yet, but it's still great news. Let's hope Warner do a good job with this, and that it encourages them to release more cartoons on Blu. If they start giving us the greats from Hanna-Barbera's catalogue soon enough (give me The Flintstones, The Jetsons and The Smurfs, which I would import because Fabulous Films are shit), then they'll win new respect from me.

god yes please..

the unrestored ones on dvds were ok for filler.. annoyingly censored and missing 2 of the 161 made...

strange thing is the American dvds also had 2 missing episodes... but completely different ones...

There is no word on UK release! I hope its Region Free so I can import it! I said it before and saying it again and will say it in future that why the heck BDs release late in UK! Some titles even release months after the US release. I need to know from Studios that what sin we have done? Is it so hard to release a title in UK and US at the same time?

I think we apparently don't show as much interest in Blu-ray as the US does. That doesn't mean that this country shows absolutely no interest, and that we don't get annoyed when we get screwed over not just through getting the releases later, but by getting half-ass job editions of them. Just look at Disney giving us just a 1 disc release for The Incredibles (as well as, by the looks of it, no UK Blus for Winnie the Pooh or Mars Needs Moms), and Momentum giving us 1080i/25fps versions of The King's Speech and Season of the Witch. It's pretty much every studio that does it, not just Warner. Luckily they don't region lock their discs, so you can import this without having to worry for a second.

I'd like to think it would get a UK release eventually. Sooner than later hopefully.
