Default Disney Live Action FINALLY.....Maybe?

Another forum is reporting Disney's classic "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" has a new 4K scan and restoration, will be shown theatrically in August, and will be the first of this genre to Blu-Ray! Fabulous "about time" news if true. Guess Blu-Ray has finally hit Disney's magic market share tipping point. Can "Mary Poppins," "Darby O'Gill and the Little People," "The Black Hole," "Swiss Family Robinson," "Pollyanna," etc. be far behind?

Which forum was this? I'd like to know more about these supposed screenings. They showed "20,000 Leagues" at the Museum of the Moving Image earlier this year and I found out about it too late. I'd love to see it in a theater.

Are you just referring to older live-action Disney films? The reason I'm asking is because the studio's released quite a few non-animated titles over the last few years.

Just give me 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Darby O'Gill and the Little People, Pete's Dragon, The Castaways, and Swiss Family Robinson.

Source was the AV Science Forum, and I am referring to Disney's older cannon of live action films (50's, 60's, 70's).

Default 20,000 Le

I would very much like to see 20,000 LUtS on BD! I think it was on Hallmark HD several months ago, and it looked pretty good for OTA. So I'm assuming there has been some sort of work done on it.
I would also like to see The Last Flight of Noah's Ark on BD as well!
