A new Star Trek steelbook? That'll be interesting.

I am going to be so p*ssed off if that new version of the Transformers 1 steelbook has removable back info and inside artwork by default.

Is it just me or was the whole fun about steelbooks that they were rare and collectible? Now it seems theyre just releasing anything on steel for our money! None of the artworks even any different from the original covers!

No, it is not only you. It really boring what is being released.
But...let's not complain...all our (Multi)-buys created that market, so there was enough demand to react and make a profitbale business out of it.

True. And i probably will order a few of these. But it would be great to see either new titles or at least new artwork. Ill pick up both transformers as i believe the third film will get a steel release!

On the verge of giving up on Steelbooks. Too many of them being re-released.

If you want great looking steelbooks for Transformers 2 and Star Trek, you'd be better off looking for the original versions from FutureShop.

Definitely Star Trek! Maybe GI Joe and the Transformers.

For those of you disappointed with more SteelBook announcements, I would say that you are collecting for the wrong reasons.

I think it is great to see more SteelBooks coming out even though I may not be buying any of them.

However, having said that, expect the prices for all of the existing SBs to drop with these re-releases.

I think the STAR TREK looks best, but not better than the UK/Canada release.

Most of these movies have already been released in SteelBooks, so I'm not super excited, although I will probably pick up Star Trek since I don't have the first release. The rest, I think I'll pass on.
