Well Go USA presents Shaolin (aka The New Shaolin Temple), a 2011 martial arts film directed by Benny Chan (New Police Story), starring Andy Lau (Fulltime Killer), Nicholas Tse (Stool Pigeons), Wu Jing (SPL: Sha Po Lang), Xing Yu (Ip Man), and Fan Bingbing (Bodyguards and Assassins), with a special appearance by Jackie Chan (Rush Hour 1-3).

It will be available on Blu-ray and DVD, with each format having a standard and Collector’s Edition set.

Here is Well Go's official artwork, which is usually carried over to their DVD/Blu-ray Releases.

No it was not, it is a Hong Kong film, which never make it to theatres (maybe small indie theaters) but is a great film. I own the HK edition that includes 7.1 sound.

I think they played it in some of the bigger cities like LA, NY, DC. However, not Minneapolis so shame on u Well Go USA!!!

Above average reviews.. dramatic.. I'm ok with that.

By the way the review is wrong in the audio, the wellgo website says the sound will be in mandarin even though the DVD menu says it is cantonese (they have a misprint in some of the DVDs)

Picked up my first Well Go USA BD today. I still don't understand why the make a collectors and a gimped edition when the prices are barely different.

Absolutely love the slip for it as well.

Pulled this out today and the thing had some of the worst disc rot I've ever seen. Tried to fast forward through it and stopped working about half way into the film.

You can try contact Wellgo. I had a Korean title with a misprinted name and they offered to check and replace it if I mail in the disc. I didn’t do it but they have decent customer service.

I just ordered a brand new one on Amazon. If that one has any issues, I'll probably contact them at that point, but thank you for the suggestion.

Bought a used copy at Half-Price books, and same here…..visibly discolored edge of the disc surface. Thanks a lot, whoever sold it to them!
