I have my settings set in Movie mode. As for Contrast and Brightness settings go. How high do you have your Contrast and Birghtness set to?
I have them set at C:75 and B:54. I feel like setting my contrast higher but I'm afraid that it will affect the phosphurs. |

It varies depending on your particular TV model and your viewing environment. The easiest way is to use a calibration blu-ray to check the levels and set them with the disc. Here are a few discs you can download and use free or buy at a retail/online store:
AVS HD 709 (free, just have to download the image and record to a blu-ray disc or dvd disc) Spears and Munsil DVE HD Disney World of Wonder Alternatively, you could do a earch on google for your particular TV's model number and maybe someone has posted settings which may or may not work for your particular TV set. |

I hav found a few settings for my PN51D6500 and most of them have a higher contrast than what I am currently using. I did notice that when watching a dark movie I cannot sometimes distiguish the dark details. Some dark scenes seem to be in as one.

I would suggest a calibration disc to fix this problem, as once done correctly you will notice a marked improvement.
