The steelbook is very well designed IMO, its minimalistic and sleek and slightly reminiscent of the V season 1 steelbook. You can tell tha red paint finish will be gorgeous. Any word on where we can order?

My Chinese friend told me the steelbook is only for sale to BluFans.com forum
members, not to general public. To be released around mid.Oct, and it is pretty much sold out now.

In fact I think the steelbook design is quite nice as well.

Aww thats a shame. I heard about an exclusive steelbook arranged by a forum overseas, guess this must be it. I'm sure prices for this will be high on the bay

Yes, that is the one. I think the film is not well recognized internationally and the only star people might know is Chow Yun-Fat, so the price won't be that crazy at the bay. But for only 500 in production, who knows.

Are you guys sure this is a steelbook? There has been numerous reports stating that Scanavo only made printed steelbook in production run of minimum 8000 pieces, whereas the minimum quantity for stickerbook is 4000. If so, how can there a steelbook release for 500 pieces???

It is a steelbook for sure. I guess a smaller print run is possible in production in China.

From what I remember, the minimum run for a dvd SteelBook is 8000, and a blu is 4000. A StickerBook was created for runs less than that. There has also been someone from Scanavo that said recently that a minimum run for a blu is 8000, but I distinctly remember a few years back that it was 4000. The minimum run might have increased since that time due to rising costs, but I don't think the minimum run (if there even is one) is 4000 for a StickerBook.
