Picked up My Blu Ray player! - Blu-ray Forum

I just picked up the Samsung Blu Ray player and the manager at Best Buy was chasing me telling me the clerk made a mistake and I had to return it immediately.... I literally just signed the VISA receipt, grabbed the player and walked as fast as I could towards the door with the Manager telling me to stop. I just kept walking as fast as I could, straight to my car holding the receipt in the air!!!! I kept saying sorry dude, I alraeady bought it... they kept following me and not knowing what to do... No way baby!!! Its mine!!!!

The HD-DVD A1 player has also showed up today for evaluation... I just got in 4 HD-DVD movies also...

Anyone in the DC area is welcome to come over... David Boulet is coming, others welcome... We are trying to stalk Best Buys for the movies... The manager caught on too quick and I had to grab the player and run!!!

I'm calling around to see if I can 'finegel' some movies out of other Best Buys and Circuit City's!!

I called all over the place. If any local stores do have it they're not admitting it.

Wish I lived near DC. I love politics so I really should move there and have some real fun.

Sum of a *****, Well... my Ruby didn't show up today. I paid for it a couple weeks ago and it was supposed to drop ship from Sony... I still have my Dwin HD700 CRT hung, but that only accepts RGBHV... I have an Extron Rx202 switch box, but that as a prioprietary 9 pin input... I have a few special cables, but they are all 5 BNC... everything I have setup is all BNC connections... I don't know... I'm tired.... I called lots of Best Buy's to try and get somebody to put a Bly Ray movie aside... I asked for it by sku number as not to attract attention, but nobody several couldn't find it in the back room, and several different BB found it but said I had to wait until Sunday... (Underworld Evolutions). Dam, the movies are impossible to get except for one person on AVS Forum managed to pull it off...

Well, maybe the Ruby will come tomorrow... They must have a huge demand still.... So much stuff sitting here and I can't do anything!!! ISCO III lens in its box, players, movies... Oh well... Damn Dwin CRT... get this analog RGB stuff outta here!!!

I think the other guy who got a player on AVS got it for review purposes, which is why he had the movies to play.
