Transformers Preview on Next DVD

So I sat down last night and watched next on sd dvd which was a stellar movie. However I nearly lost my mind, I was watching the previews and naturally since it is a paramount movie there was a trailer for Transformers, this did not surprise me I, Like many others have gone through the heartaching realization that it is not suppose to come out on Blu, so I paid little attention to it. However right at the end of the trailer it said it would be released on DVD HD-DVD AND BLU-RAY. In my awe and to make sure I was not loosing it I rewound it and paused on the screen and sure enough it said all 3 now I could have understood this had it been released around the time the announcement was made. However this DVD was just released on Tues at least a month after the announcement was made. Now most would think that they would have gone back and corrected this ad.

Is there still a chance? I guess we will need to wait and see.

I think a few people have mentioned this. I believe the consensus is that Paramount is lazy and didn't bother to change it.

I think we should put together a class action lawsuit for false advertisement and seek $150M in damages.

Paramount, lazy?! No! I am ok with them going HD DVD exclusive. We are getting Warner, they are announcing it today.

I will say losing Transformers hurt a little, but other than that I didn't feel Paramount was a big loss. I was also impressed at how civil the WB rumor thread remained. Even until it's lonely demise. RIP WB Rumor thread.

I usually only download tv shows off the net but since I am not supporting hddvd studio's I have got some movies I will not be buying.Transformers seeing it the second time was enough for me. Its big and loud it is also big and dumb. I couldn't get through shrek 3 BORING. I havn't finished the bourne 3 film yet. It is really messing with my head watching movies knowing all the studio bullshit going on. It feels like the muslim terrorists have captured startrek and are holding it hostage.

Why does it have to be "muslim" terrorists ? why can't it be just terorrists without attaching any religious profile with that ?
