Thumbs up

Very Nice setup!! Love the DIY Speaker stands - did you DIY the Sub Riser also? (didn't see pics, but just curious). Beautiful looking speakers, nice room as well. Great job all-around!

After seeing your New "avatar", I'm wondering if we made the right decision! That's one scary photo!

In fact, the subwoofer is on a DIY stand is very simple, however, I prefer to make a new one that matches the front speaker stands before showing some pictures

Finally, I have installed and calibrated my little monster KEF C4, deluxe sound, I am very happy with the purchase, by the way I've already uploaded the pictures in my gallery, I hope you enjoy them.

At this point the other subwoofer is in standby, while completing the negotiations with my wife, as to whether or not it will be placed first, LOL. I am suffering!!

Hello Mangosta.

I felt compelled to bring your thread front and center because your gallery is just down right beautiful. The images are breath-taking.

Guys, if you haven't seen the new speakers, you should really take a look at Mangosta's gallery. The look and finish of the Kef's takes his room to another level. The dark finish of speakers creates an excellent contrast to the color scheme of the room, which evokes a very warm and inviting atmosphere.

Mangosta, looking at your seating arrangement, have you considered switching the locations of sofa and the two single chairs. I think that positioning the sofa on the back wall and the two single chairs across from the love seat will give a more balanced look. It's sort of a "feng shui" thing. Not only that but, when it comes to listening to music, the sofa allows for you to sit dead center in the sweet spot to experience the improved imaging provided by the Kef towers.

Regardless my friend, your room and setup is among the most eye-catching on the site. Congrats.

Thank you comrade, I think it's important not to ignore the aesthetics, I'm the type of man who spends much time at home when not at work, so why not make the home also a place that pleases the eye?

Stands for speakers have their story, my wife wanted to give me a pair Oakley shoes for my birthday and I asked her to buy me wood and lacquer to build the stands, so in a way, were a gift.
