Netflix Drops the Qwikster Idea - Blu-ray Forum

"It’s hard to write this after over 10 years of mailing DVDs with pride, but we think it is necessary: In a few weeks, we will rename our DVD by mail service to “Qwikster”. We chose the name Qwikster because it refers to quick delivery. We will keep the name “Netflix” for streaming."

The CEO is out there commenting too (while he still has a job). Their stock is about to take another hit.

So if I'm reading it right, instead of having 1 login and being easy, it's going to be 2 different sites, so 2 different logins.

Or do you think this will be a good move for the future? They're adding in video game rentals for Qwikster. I like it all in one place since I use both, so it's convenient.

Wow, that's bizarr-o. I've never seen a CEO act like this, then that video too. It won't change anyone's mind.

I think either way, those CEOs are mega millionaires why not just make the customers happy?

It's funny how I see more people at my local blockbuster and all my friends canceled their Netflix lol now it's called quickster and it's separate from Netflix so it'll be 35 a month for streaming,1 bluray and one copy of a ps3 game lol rather go into a air conditioned store.rent a movie and a game for 5 bucks lol can't beat that!
