Awesome! The movie wasn't that great, but the steelbook looks pretty cool. I'm definitely picking this up. Best Buy has been coming through lately.

This is fantastic news! Way to go BB. One thing i'm confused about though, is the price $17.99 or $22.99?

Never mind. I just saw the weekly add. Still a great price. So excited now.

Looks like a G2 to me. Especially when you do a comparison with the german release, which is definitely G2. Only difference I can see, is the blu banner may be printed onto the BB steelbook.

So I take it this is the online listing?

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Green+La...ern&lp=14&cp=1

In case the link decides to disappear like F5 did, here's SKU: 3477047

Just a warning on Green Lantern. I saw it for free and afterwards said to myself that even if it was a slipcovered one of a kind steelbook with encrusted diamonds on it, and that was free, I still wouldn't take it. The movie was horrible, absolutely one of the worst I've EVER seen. You couldn't pay me to watch it again.

So you're stating that Transformers: DOTM isn't a "crappy" movie?

Green Lantern wasn't a great movie by any means, but I still I enjoyed it quite a bit more than Transformers.

i'd bet that's 100% to do with the studios, not Best Buy.. Transformers and Captain America are Paramount while Green Lantern is WB, apart from Disney, they seem to have the most steelbooks for their movies. actually the only Paramount steelbooks i remember were for the Cloverfield and Transformers 2 DVDs.. butnow that Disney's got the rights to future Marvel stuff (like the upcoming The Avengers movie) maybe they will have some cool ones in the future.

the movie wasn't great, it seemed to drag along for the first 40ish minutes, aka when he finally got the ring and whatnot.. but it was alright. i was most likely going to wait until it was around $5-10, but now i'll get it Friday because of the steelbook
