Children Of The Corn 1984 - Directors Cut ITV 1987?

Have been searching for a recording of this for years. Have tried a number of collectors forums and thought I,d try here.

The only known showing of this was on LWT (other ITV regions as well) in the UK on Saturday 9/5/1987. I actually recorded it but stupidly taped over it thinking this version was available on US tape and the UK one was censored.
It contained a longer prologue with more adults killed amongst other additions.

Someone else advertised in film fanzines for years looking for this. Not sure if he managed to locate a copy or not.

Anyone into horror movies/Stephen King reading this can you please check any vhs recordings from the 80's you may have in the hope you may still have a copy of this specific broadcast or ask your fellow fan friends if they may of recorded it.

There is no ''director's cut''. The director himself said he never shot anything else other than the Blue Man scene. Nothing else has ever existed, end of.
