There's no such thing as an HDMI 1.4 cable. HDMI version numbers refer to the transmitting and receiving devices, not to the cables that connect them. Any cable can be used. But, you will only get the HDMI functions that are supported by both devices. So, if one device has 1.4 and the other is 1.3, then you won't be able to use any 1.4 features such as the audio return channel.
