Default How flexible are Blu Rays? Are they as flexible as ordinary CDs/DVDs?

It is well known that Blu Rays have a tougher surface that is harder to scratch than ordinary DVDs. But I was wondering if this surface has a negative effect on the flexibility of Blu Rays? I'm asking because with some covers such as some of my steelbooks, the Blu Rays bend a lot when you're taking them out of the case. And I remember when I was trying to break ordinary CDs a long time ago that they could almost bend completely like a piece of paper before they broke. Anyone know if this is still the case with Blu Ray discs?

Blu-ray disc are pretty durable, but I would not want to push them to find out how far they will go.

This is an interesting question....and I happen to have a copy of one of those gawd-awful sci-fi channel movies on blu, so I may have a "comparison test". We'll see.
