USA A Haunting in Salem 3D Blu-ray (2011) [Region Free]

Our friends at The Asylum - makers of Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus - have released their first Blu-ray 3D disc. The film in question is a haunted house flick called A Haunting in Salem, and contrary to what you might expect from a no-budget studio, it was shot natively in 3D. Opinions on the film itself are predictably terrible, but the 3D is described as having nice depth and it's cheap for a BD-3D at less than $22 from Amazon. Might check it out if I can get a cheaper used copy.

Here's the trailer:

I'm sure it's terrible (Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus is probably one of their better movies! They originally started as the company making cheap knockoffs of movies just coming out (Transmorphers, Snakes on a train, Sunday school musical)), But I'd also imagine they go all out with "pop out" in this movie.

If the price drops to the $15 range, I'll definitely pick it up!

Jeez it looks awful! But I am a gluton for punishment, and if I see it cheap I will no doubt buy it .. interesting to hear what the 3D will be like .. native and all

That bad, huh? Kidding. But how is the 3D on it?

Does anyone own this? I found a copy at a thrift and just realized it's a BDR. The cover and case and disc art look good, I'm assuming I found a boot by mistake, but I'm not sure why anyone would go to the trouble to boot something like this to the levels they did on the copy I found. Nobody really cares about this thing. Was this a pressed release or a BDR release? Thanks

Have it. Pressed release, not a BDR.

Seeing as pixote unearthed this ancient thread a few weeks ago about this pretty much forgotten little native 3D film, I thought I'd mention that a review of its 3D has just gone up on YouTube.
