Japan [PS Move] Resident Evil Chronicles HD Selection Announced for PS3

During an event held by Capcom in Tokyo for the 15th anniversary of the Biohazard series, The producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi announced something that will definitely please PS3 players around the world.
The formerly Wii Exclusive on-rail shooters Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles will get the HD Port treatment and will be released on the PS3 as Biohazard Chronicles HD. The two titles will fully support the PlayStation Move.
While nothing has been announced yet about a western release (no Japanese release date has been announced as well), it’s nothing short of probable.

REmake next? RE4 Move patch? Who knows.

Don't get your hopes up for that. If there was going to be one, I'm pretty sure it would have been announced by now. Anyway, that RE Chronicles HD bundle better not be more than $30.

anyone want to guess if these will be able to be played with just a standard controller, or is the Move controller a must for these titles (and similar Move titles)?

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to use the DS3 as well.

Default Resident Evil 'Chronicles' Games Coming to PS3 with Move Support

Quote:
andriasang reports that the two wii-based resident evil chronicles games are headed to ps3 as a single hd remake package featuring playstation move support.

Umbrella chronicles and darkside chronicles are two on-rails shooters that retell important events from the resident evil saga. Umbrella chronicles explores key events from resident evil zero, resident evil and resident evil 3: Nemesis, featuring narration from series antagonist albert wesker. Darkside chronicles, meanwhile, explores resident evil 2 and code veronica, with a particular focus on the more personal tragedies the characters have suffered throughout the series.

The announcement was made at a special resident evil 15th anniversary event held earlier today. Release date and pricing for the collection has yet to be revealed.
