Of the 2-part live action movies ("Gantz" / "Gantz 2: Perfect Answer"), Manga UK gave the first movie a BD release (Identical to the Madman Austraila release), and although they have up a preorder for "Gantz 2: Perfect Answer" next month, there are listings for the DVD, but not for the Blu-ray anywhere. I've contacted Manga on Facebook, and they are not answering whether a BD is coming or not.

Considering Madman Australia is releasing their Blu-ray next month, I don't see why Manga is not porting that disc over for the UK.

Very unusual to see the UK options for BD owners: Either have part 1 on BD and part 2 on DVD, or have them both on BD, but part 2 being an import from another country.

I've asked for a definitive answer (or should I say, a Perfect Answer) from Manga, but anyone know anything?

May be wrong but I think the blu was cancelled due to poor sales of the first one.

Well, Manga UK finally answered and they gave it a definite "No" for the Blu-ray for the sequel. Bad idea... I'd think sales for the first film would actually INCREASE once the series ended, for the people waiting for the 2-film set.

Oh well. Looks like a non-UK version instead....

Do they not understand that those that did purchase the first part, are more than likely going to want the second as well? Factor in as well, those that were maybe waiting for a complete boxset.

Anyway, balls to them. I received the US release from Planet Axel yesterday.

I have noticed this at my local jb hifi, maybe the second one will be japan only.
