Default QUIVER - The new independent horror film from Still Frame Entertainment!

What’s up, Blu-ray and movie fanatics?! My name’s Kenneth Livitski, but most of you around here know me by my alias of ‘Tridon’. I’m opening this thread tonight to help spread the word about something that’s very near and dear to my heart to an audience that I know will appreciate it.

This something that I’m talking about is Quiver, an independent horror film that was shot in the city and surrounding area of my hometown, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. My role on Quiver, and the reason why I’m here talking to you about it, is that of screenwriter and producer. Since this film was my brainchild, I want to spread the word to show how proud I am of it.

Quiver completed shooting last fall and as of right now, it’s currently in its post-production stage. The film follows a couple who, after receiving the co-ordinates to an isolated camping destination, decide to go on a hiking trip to rekindle their relationship and celebrate their anniversary. Once they arrive, though, they soon realize that this area isn’t as isolated as they once thought and that something unexplainable awaits them.

The film was directed and produced by Still Frame Entertainment owner Trevor Zurkan and features a stellar cast that includes Robert Beck, Lisa Marie DiGiacinto, Andrew Paulsen, Dave DelBen, Tracey Stevens and more. Another thing about Quiver is that it lives up to being a real independent picture. This film was 100% funded by both Trevor and I and as such, I’ll soon be opening an IndieGoGo page to help raise funds to complete the rest of the film. If you’d be interested in donating and helping out, please PM me here and I’ll give you further details once the donation page goes live.

If you’re interested in learning more about the film, feel free to check it out on Facebook, IMDb, the Still Frame Entertainment Web site or at my own personal Tumblr Blog. Even if you can't donate towards the film, we still very much appreciate the following and support. Now, before I close this message, allow me to leave you with the link to the official trailer of Quiver that just went online tonight. I hope you enjoy it!

The trailer looked alright. The last bit about the bug spray made me laugh. You mention about trying to raise funds to complete the rest of the film. Are you still shooting it?

No, the shooting's complete (besides a few minor re-shoots). Basically, we're looking to raise funds to help put together a team for the visual effects.

Thumbs up IndieGoGo campaign now open to those who'd like to help out!

Hey, everyone. Just a small update today...

I've officially opened an IndieGoGo page for Quiver in hope that we'll be able to raise some funds to help us with the completion of the post-production. As I mentioned before, the big thing right now is the visual effects for the film. That'll cost a significant amount, so most funds raised will most likely go directly to that.

If you head over to the QUIVER INDIEGOGO PAGE, you'll be able to see a video with both myself and director Trevor Zurkan where we introduce the trailer as well as go into details as to where all the funds raised will go towards. You'll also see a list of "perks" -- incentives for everyone based on how much they contribute to the film.

As it says on the page and in the video, if you can't afford to make a donation at this time, that's absolutely fine and understandable. If you can just help us by spreading awareness for Quiver and its IndieGoGo page, that'd mean the world to us.

Thanks, everyone... and if you have any questions or comments, feel free to reply on this thread or message me directly and I'll definitely get back to you as soon as possible!

Ooh, sound stood. Will watch the trailer soon if it gets a good cinema releases, can we expect a Bluray.? I'm sure the guys on the slipcover thread can throw ideas for a slipcover for it.
I might donate $250, associate producer sounds awsome and to be in the film credits .! Awsome. Was think of going as an executive but that's a risk for me. Anyway

Haha, thanks for the support, Nick! If you donated to be an associate producer, that'd be complete awesome-sauce! I was gonna ask the guys on the slipcover forum if they'd help out since they're the lot I'm closest to around here, but I strongly doubt that this'll have a slipcover. It will definitely have a Blu-ray, no doubt about it, but yeah -- probably no slip. I'm gonna have to PM you directly.

Anyway, just wanted to bump this up. The film's received quite a bit of support over the last few days as our IndieGoGo campaign and cash donations now total $645. Since we passed the $500 mark, we'll be drawing a name for two tickets to the premiere in Thunder Bay this summer. Next stop is $1000 and I'm going to be thinking of something to draw when we get to that point. We want the visual effects to be as awesome as possible, so the more money raised, the better to help us with those costs. Thanks, everyone!
