With the re-make coming out this year I was wondering if there's been any rumour of a re-release of the original with better PQ and AQ??

Good question. Who knows, but I imported my copy from the UK and it looks good. It may not be perfect, but it's certainly better than the US version, let alone a huge increase in PQ over the DVD.

Bumping this. I was originally gonna ask if the Total Recall Blu-ray was worth buying. I just recently watched the DVD on an upscale BR player but it really show it's age. Are there any more rumblings on a re-release or remaster?
