I saw an advanced screening of Titanic 3D, and I admit I'm biased as a fellow Titanic lover. That being said, I thought the 3D looked darn impressive considering the age of the movie and that it's a conversion. And it wasn't just the major action pieces. Even something minor, like people sitting around a table, and the place settings, struck me as particularly full of depth.

Granted, there are sections of the movie that feel more flat than others and the picture was often quite soft (though that could have been because I had to be so close to the front of the theater), but if you're a fan of the movie, I'd highly recommend seeing the 3D version.

My girlfriend wants me to take to her to see this... I asked, "Can't we just wait until it comes out on blu ray in 3D?" She said, "Nope!" I replied, "But honey, the theaters are going to be packed with tear jerking chicks (and some dudes crying too). She said, "We're still going!"

I'm thinking, "Hell fire... I guess so then."

See you guys at the theaters. Don't be late either. If I got to sit through this thing, so do you!

Just kidding... I did see previews of this 3D movie... looks pretty good. Just know the theaters are going to be packed though, there are lots of women in my aera and they all like tear jerking 3D movies.

Bring your own beer, I ain't sharing this time...
