Anyone in the beta?

Just wondering, been watching the streams for months now since The International win by Na'vi.

Isn't the beta an invite? I haven't tried the game out, but I am trying to wonder how does the process work, being that they require you to check on your machine (I ask becuase I use both a laptop and HTPC with steam). I do know alot of people are able to enter but I'm still on the fence, and I don't play many RTS games.

Edit: I should also add that you can technically play it for free if you sign a survey (which will check on your computer) on steam. Again there is a pretty good chance you can get in the beta.
