Scent of a Woman Blu-ray

Scent of a Woman is a complete re-encode from the HD DVD. It takes up almost the whole BD-50.

REALLY upsetting that all the deleted scenes are not on the HD DVD or Blu-ray for SOL. Universal prepped an extended edition that only made it to VHS.

It's obviously to director approved, so it's a good thing we don't have to sit through another unwanted "extended" edition.

It's not bad at all. It's got all of the Lorraine Bracco scenes back in as well as others from the original trailer.

Would be nice if they, at the very least, included them in the deleted scenes section. Very very strange.

I have to agree, the only one I'm looking at getting is Scent of a Woman. Pacino incredible... Sea of Love is almost embarassing at best.

I wouldn't mind getting Scent of a Woman on Blu-ray. I remember the first time I ever saw it. It was way back on February 1st of 1994.

It was the very first movie that Starz showed.

Scent is crying out for a 4K.

The blu is nice but it’s covered in flecks of dirt and feels like you’re watching a movie projected onto cardboard. This could look really ‘3D’ on 4K if done right, kinda like In The Line Of Fire.

I'd say both are. Maybe they can get a 4K remaster and put out by Kino?

My guess is Universal will keep Pacino movies given they have released Scarface and recently Carlito's Way on UHD BD. Keeping fingers crossed for these other two.

Scent of a Woman is phenomenal, Pacino's performance is unforgettable. The scene where he walks into traffic has me in tears on every watch. By the way, the Bluray looks fantastic - very bright, very sharp. Don't miss this one on your next haul.

Its an old VC1 transfer. Australia just came out with a newer AVC and I'm wondering how it compares.
