I think that price justifies a blind buy, doesn't it? Heard a lot of good thinks about the movie so far.

It's absolutely awesome. Just FYI it's in Indonesian and subtitled (if you didn't already know).

I love the steelbook so goddamn much, I hate anime, but I love cartoonish comic book-esque visuals and I think it suits the film very much. I'd wish thed do something like this for Batman or The Avengers

This film was one of my favourites of the year. Seen it a few times now, and each time I have a smile on my face. I'm wondering if the Blu Ray release is the uncut version. I have yet to see it, was only shown once in Glasgow and I missed it. Also, that steelbook looks absolutely gorgeous.

I don't know, the cuts they made to the US version made little sense (which was the version we got) but considering it's Momentum...yeah

I just watched this, I thought it looked great - it was no Avatar, but it wasn't supposed to be, and didn't need to be.

Watched this for the first time this afternoon. Spectacular action scenes but i have to differ with my mates claim that it's 'the best action movie ever made', as for myself, as far as fighting movies go, it's beaten slightly by Ong Bak. A very crummy looking movie in terms of its photography, but true to the source i guess and resources were obviously very limited.

Ah, the Avatar defence. Wondered when someone would trot that one out. I wasn't expecting Avatar either, but by the same token I wasn't expecting something that looks like a low bitrate rip. It's a shame because the camera work itself is often fantastic, and it's not done justice by this appalling transfer. The sound kicks arse, though.

- THIS

The encode is garbage and full of the kind of compression artefacts i associate with DVD or digital TV

The movie is flabby as hell with scenes dragging on far too long - i struggled to stay interested.... no way is this "The best action movie in a decade"

Some of the fights reminded me of ten minute drum solos.

Whilst it's not a lovely transfer from film etc, it looks the same way (to me) that it did when I saw it at the cinema. A fast paced, dimly lit film shot on consumer DV, therefore it doesn't look brilliant, but it does look how it should.
