I think it will be the same size as the Aliens quadriology Play.com steelbook possibly. Still think the basic cover art is a bit of a let down. Would have been better with some nicer artwork on there.

will 5 disks fit in a regular steelbook? the recent Alien anthology set from play.com was a tight fit with 4 disks...I cant see 5 disks fitting into a regular thickness G2 steel....

I'm gonna guess a 2 disk version for each Batman film and then maybe a DVD or digital copy disk for something, or maybe a double disk for BB and triple with more features for TDK but i would also really like to know what's officially on them. Since that guy got it early, shouldn't he have details?

Same with me just a large plastic bag folded in half and sealed. No protection for the steelbook whatsoever. Luckily mine looks okay.

Was extremely lucky mine is okay.

Came via TNT which is who they use for oversize items and appears to now be their standard packaging for this shipping method.

Most single items are still in the card boxes via Royal Mail although some people with back catalogue buys have got them just in this plastic bag via HDN / Yodel.

I still haven't received mine so assuming that they're using TNT, what's the latest those guys deliver stuff?

My copy was to work as knew HMV classify as oversize so with their old large box packaging would not have fitted my letter box.

With TNT mail like this if a residential address it comes via your postman as TNT take to your sorting office and leave it to the Royal Mail to deliver. As work is large commercial comes via TNT but they get to us early.

That's what I said in my earlier post.

The problem is with over sized boxes like for this as jumbo steelbook. They used to just use larger card boxes but now it seems to be just plastic bags like my steelbook or if your are lucky a jiffy bag. Neither offer anywhere near the protection on the HMV small card boxes, let alone Play or Amazon custom steelbook packaging.

They all seem to be coming TNT. However they then use Royal Mail from your sorting office if residential address but mine came to work in TNT van.

Have also emailed to complain about crap packaging.

Please can everyone complaining also copy their emails to
enquiries@hmvgroup.com

These is for corporate issues so more likely to be actioned than just sending to the website customer services alone.

Default The Dark Knight / Batman Begins Blu-ray Triple Play Steelbook UK Release

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...pf_rd_i=468294

Couldn't find a thread on this.

Mine arrived today & I have to say it's a poorly designed box.

Steel exterior & plastic interior. The two trays within the box have a tight fit & you have to be careful when moving them to get to the discs. Could easily snap for the heavy handed!

Not impressed with it but I managed to purchase it cheap with vouchers £7.99!

Just thought I would make you aware before you think of purchasing this set.

Also Batman Begins has 1 Blu Ray & 1 DVD, Dark Knight has 2 Blu Ray Discs & 1 DVD & there is a slip to download both titles, as Ultraviolet Digital copies.
