There have been a number of titles being added to the Australian Database without first checking to see if they are already entered.
Please be sure to check if they are already in the Database before submitting titles. This can mean searching by different titles, for example Seven may also be listed as Se7en, or Fantastic 4 could be Fantastic Four. If you have found a duplicate, please post them in here. There are some cases where Duplicate entries are ok, such as Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which come in either a Limited Edition Digipack, or the regular Amaray in a Slipcover. Films such as Ben Hur, which originally came with a Slipcover, does not need to be added to the Database again, once the slipcover has gone out of print. It has not been re-issued, it has not been given an extra disc. That is what the selection box "Slipcover in Original Pressing" is for, to inform people it may, or may not still come with the Slipcover. I hope this makes sense. Any questions, please ask, and please post duplicates when you find them. Last edited by LordCrumb; 06-23-2012 at 11:24 PM. |

Whilst we're on a bit of a "clean up" mission I may as well mention that of late there seems to be a lot of specs being entered based on what's on the artwork or (in some cases) guesswork. These can often be incorrect.
Unless you've confirmed the specs from the disc directly whether in player or via a BDInfo scan please leave them set as "Unset". Many are being set as "No" or being entered incorrectly with pre-orders often having guessed specs entered. Although I'm sure many are just trying to help incorrect specs are no more helpful than none at all except that they're also misleading. If you're creating an entry for a release which you don't own or haven't had the opportunity to check your best option is to create a "shell" entry for the title and fill in the specs once you'd been able to confirm them. Thanks in advance. |

How is it properly done? I'm just noticing a few popping up lately for Australian releases.
Is there a "report" or notice button or anything? Or do we just leave it alone? Any response appreciated. |

OK, thanks LordCrumb. Please add the following:
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/X-Men...Blu-ray/53031/ I did a tabbed comparison in my browser of this and the other Triple-Play AU release already in the database, no differences as far as I can see. |

Sorry about that! For some reason it wasn't showing up in the auto-fill thing when I was trying to search it. (I had it on global, too many other results I think lol).
Apologies too I appear to have duplicated an entry for "The Matrix" on DVD somehow. They are both showing as added by me - if the one without cover art could be deleted would be good. |
