Default Congratulations to the BDA...

Well planed boys... You know this Disney BOGO at every store in North America (including Online) , mysteriously the same week as Transformer Release on HD DVD... this was nice... well tought..

In Canada we have the same thing + some store does a BOGO on Sony Titles

I'am pretty sure that was planned all along to secure Neilsen Number, because everyone in the industry watch those...

To the INSIDERS if your looking at this thread.

THANK YOU!
To Sony, Disney and all the members of BDA.

I was wondering when you were gonna make a move to counter all this propaganda and mis-information. Well timed.

I have to admit not even the HD-DUD zealots were expecting this move and are now crying over at AVM$ & Hidefd.com. Thank you to all the BDA companies and to the whole Blu-Ray community. Blu-Ray FTW!!!

HD DVD fanbots are screaming bloody murder.

Geez, you'd think some company was just paid $150 million to go exclusive or something.

No Disney doesn't have a sales.. but i received a flyer Saturday showing :

3 for 2 on selected Sony Titles until Oct 31.. talk the Guy at the counter maybe i'll know.

Last time they moved the title in the Special Zone in the lobby (if you go at the Metro Peel one)...

I was reading the HD-DVD Transformers forum over at Amazon - it's truly amazing how DUD supporters continue to defy logic with comments like "it saves production costs" and "dolby digital plus sounds the same as true hd". The look and sound of perfect? More like the look OR sound of perfect. Best to stick to Blu-ray, where I can get 1080p and lossless audio on 3 times as many titles as DUD.

Yes. Thank you BDA! While I wasn't able to purchase as many Blu-rays as some other members, I walked away with 4 in total.

Yes,

Thank You. For a while I thought nothing was planned but the BoGoF sales made buying Blu this week more fun then ever.

And that says a lot because buying Blu is already very fun to begin with.

That may be the main reason, but I also think it is a good move to try to get people to buy a Blu-ray player, instead of Transformers and an HD DVD player. Disney really isn't in a position to subsidize Blu-ray players, but they can help them sell with things like this sale. I also think Disney's involvement here is a good sign that they aren't planning on going neutral anytime soon.
