The plots/storylines (aka "talking") are what make the Star Trek series so great. You realize this show is from the late 80s to early 90s? That should give you an indication of what the action sequences will be like..

Man, I that sucks. Sorry to hear. I hope they fix the whole situation for everyone. I I ordered one of these as well, and so I'm interested to hear if other people got a damaged steelbook.

wow, no words for how moronic that decision was--to attach the pin to the outside of the actual steelbook.

thats pretty stupid they could have put the pin inside the case. mine should be here in a few hours hope its not wrecked to.
mabey if u call and speak to amazon on the phone mabey they can get the shipping center to open the steelbook and put it inside the case before shipping it. |

paramount is offering free replacements to people who bought the steelbook who got them damaged from the pin. only stupid thing is the only countries who can sign up are the same 3 who can sign up for the free pin box. i sent an email to the email address on there contact us page asking what the deal is if there going to be willing to help out the people from canada and us who bought copies. i will post back here if i hear anything. paramount them self never bothered to email me back when i sent them an email about this. also sent an email to amazon asking them if there is anything they can do to help. hoping that they will help us out. ok i got a reply back from the startrek.de they said for us that don't live in germany just to ignore the country drop down menu list leave it set to germany fill everything normaly in but were it says town or ort in german to fill in there city then province/state then country. so just fill in that and all should be good.
ok i signed up the way they said to and it accpeted it so looks like it should be ok. i sent them another email asking if this method will also work for the free pin box. also asked if the episode guide that is going to be in the new steelbook if they would beable to provide an english one and alsoif the replacements there shipping will be compeltly new sets factory sealed or just the steelbook it self. ill post back here with more info when i get it. awww man, i would love to have an episode guide.
but i already received the full refund from amazon. oh well, maybe there is a complete series episode guide somewhere. |

the guide will probly be german only though so kind of useless to us. i asked them in my last email if it will be german only or if they can provide an english one still waiting to hear back. i just want the replacement steel with no dints or scrachs.
