Pre order is back, release date 20th October 2014 but 100 Euros is a bit to much.

Has anybody bought this set? Just wondering if the picture quality is on a par with the Sharpe Bluray set.

This was a co-production between Meridian a UK TV company and A&E in the US. Meridian like Central who made Sharpe are now part of the TV company which trades as ITV in the UK. Therefore any HD master would be by the same company.

My only doubt is I have not seen any HD TV broadcast of the show in the UK which would confirm an HD master is available.
