Default What Best Picture Do You Want Next?

Hi All,

So I've made it my goal to own all best picture winners on blu-ray (despite some weaker entries).

With the recent date and time released for Lawrence of Arabia I thought it might be a good time to ask, What are your votes for the next best picture winner to be released on blu?

For me I'd say: Oliver!

Interested to hear your thoughts.

i thought about owning all the best picture winners at one point but decided against it. I have a category in my collection on here for best picture winners I own. Looks like I own most of the best picture winners that have been released on blu from the 90s to the present(I have no interest in owning or watching Chicago, not into musicals that much). With that said I would like to see Schindler's List released even though I havent seen it as that one and Titanic(which is coming out in sept) would complete my collection of all the best picture winners from the 90s-present.

Default On the waterfront

This probably paints me as a bit of a noob to older movies, but does anyone rate "On the waterfront'?

I hear good things about this movie. Anyone keen to see this on blu?

I'm keen on Schindler's List. Already have Aussie version of Hamlet though

There are so many Best Picture candidates to choose from but gradually they are being restored and brought to Blu-Ray. Oliver! would be the next most looked for from my point of view. I believe Sony would be likely to make a huge profit. The Musical genre is overall not well represented on the Blu-Ray format so I'd go for the "underdog" as we need to see more musicals on Blu-Ray.

Schindler's List. I have a feeling we will get it next year in time for the 20th anniversary and plus Universal has listed it on their documentaries for their 100th anniversary titles among the "coming soon" titles.
