What is your price point and what screen size do you want? Gaming laptops come in many types and forms. Final Fantasy XIV is a pretty demanding game for an MMO.
MSI has some pretty good values in gaming laptops in the $1200-$1500 range. This one uses a GTX 670M graphics card, which can run pretty much anything maxed out. http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GT70-0NC-0...3&keywords=MSI Compared to this ASUS at the same size that costs the same, but uses a lower end GTX 660M, which is still really good, but the MSI ups. Although it has slightly more RAM, It isn't going to matter too much with most games, unless you plan on running alot of applications. The graphics card alone makes the MSI a better value IMO. http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-G75VW-AS7...+gaming+laptop P.S. can anyone explain to me about the warranty in the MSI laptop? I checked the ASUS model has a 1 Year warranty burried in the text, but not in the MSI (Likely is a 1 Year warranty). Both laptops do offer a 3 year extension for about $200 I believe. Just worth noting. |
