Does my Sony Blu-ray player support DVD-Audio?
according to sony "•Music : BD/DVD/CD/USB/DLNA" I would thing it does but i just bought my first DVD-Audio disc (Megadeth Peace Sells..But Whos buying) and i cant seem to access the DVD-A track, i can get to the PCM and DTS track but according to the packaging there should be a third DVD-A track which when i go to the menu it wont let me select it (i can provide screen shots if needed) according to consumer reports "Plays DVD-Audio discs No " so can someone say yes or no for sure either way? if the answer is no would this be a decent player to do so (would only be used for SACD and DVD-A) - http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-DV-610...d-audio+player Last edited by BLindsay; 07-18-2012 at 11:31 PM. |

No, the Sony Blu Ray players do not support DVD-A. I have the BDP-S570 (no DVD-A support), and they did not add support in the next iteration.

No Sony product has ever supported DVD-A.
