Default Someone help me out please - multiple HDMI ports?

So I am upgrading to DirecTv HD tomorrow. Heres the problem...I want to run it through HDMI. The problem is that my TV only has one HDMI port. I have my PS3 hooked into it. So I was looking at HDMI switchers and didn't really know which one to get yet. If you have a switcher or have some good info about one please post a link or some info. I know that I can always count on my fellow blu friends to help me out. Oh and it needs to have 3 into 1. I plan on getting something else soon that I will need that 3rd HDMI input for. Thanks again!

If you can afford to it would be better to buy a receiver that has more than one hdmi inputs and run through it. That way you can use the $75 or so that it would cost for a switcher to upgrade your home theater sound.

Sorry. I have a pretty small room. My TV, bed, and blu-rays about fill it up lol. So I don't have a receiver until I can afford to move out, because it would be kind of pointless to get one at the moment.

Go to monoprice for your HDMI switcher and HDMI cables. http://www.monoprice.com/products/su...01&cp_id=10110

I think that most people would recommend this site. Great products, reasonable prices.

Yeah thats where I got my 1st HDMI cable. I still remember how excited I was hooking up my TV that day. But yeah I looked on there and just wasn't sure which one to get. So thanks to both of you for the help and the links. $42 aint too bad.

I think there are several posts about hdmi splitters and switchers on the home theater forum subsection too. Could do a Search for those there
