Fantastic news for me, dreadful news for my wallet. Yet another day 1 release I must pick up.

Hopefully we'll have announcements for The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, and Muppet Treasure Island soon

I'm a big Muppet fan, and this will totally be a day one buy. And as other people are saying hopefully it will be a complete cut in anamorphic widescreen.

Hopefully they've paid attention to the Pocahontas Blu-Ray debacle, and this time give us the complete, intended film. At the very least give us the option to watch it with the song included. But I think most fans agree it is really a part of the complete film.

This is so exciting -- I watched it this past Christmas and it could definitely use a new transfer.

Disney is really flooding the Christmas market this year. We got The Muppets Christmas Carol, Prep & Landing, Santa Paws 2, and The Santa Clause Trilogy (with individual releases for the first 2)

Not that I'm complaining since other then Santa Paws 2, I will probably own the others before the year is through.

I love that Disney pan-and-scaned so much back in the day. People STILL think it will be cropped in 2012 on Blu-Ray.

I adore this movie and we watch it every year. But if they are truly releasing a muppets collection in 6 months that includes this, I'll just stick to my DVD For one more year.
