For some reason. None of the channels were in the guide. I even restarted the hd-dvr. So, I went through the channels manually and they showed up in the guide.

Yeah, I caught the Blob last night -- what a trip!! Also, the Great Escape was on right before it. It definitely needs an HD upgrade. Nevertheless, TCM was on all night!

Yeah, the kids were back to OD'ing on SpongeRob. I kind of missed the little yellow guy.

I tellya...I really wish the package system would go bye-bye. There's only about 12 channels I want. Of which only 3 that I watch religiously. TCM being one.

Very nice! Just remember, the movies aren't truly HD yet. They're upscaled at the moment (I read somewhere that they're working on getting HD presentations within the next few years). But yeah, the PQ is much better than the non-HD version of the channel.

The Fearless Vampire Killers looked beautiful last night (I'd love to have it on blu!).

Yeah I wondered about that. The picture quality upgrade is astounding -- as it is on all HD channels compared to their SD counterparts. But I always assumed it was a mixed bag regarding source.

I could be wrong, but I have noticed that TCM often shows a Criterion (perhaps other releases as well?) right around, or shortly before the street date. Not sure if that promulgates an HD source or not though.

You lucky duck, TCM in HD. TCM is still in SD in 2022, I understand a lot of movies that are shown on TCM aren't in HD, but there are a lot more movies that are.
