Death Proof Dutch Metal Pak - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys, I just picked up the Dutch Death Proof Metal Pak after seeing it on eBay. Been after the SteelBook for 6 months trying to complete my Tarantino SteelBook collection but it's always too pricey or hard to find. Then I saw this Dutch steelbook which looked even better, and ordered it. Turned out it's a metal pak? The inside has a little square that says patent pending Metal Pak starsolutions.fr

Have I been conned? I can't find any info about this thing anywhere, BUT I actually really like it, apart from the spine that looks a bit weird but the artwork is awesome and overall I'm really happy with it. Will post pictures if anyone is interested, but yeah, does anyone know anything about this?

If it was actually listed on ebay with "steelbook" in the listing header, then yeah, you've been conned, as that's false advertisement.

If you like it, then fair enough. If not, open a case with ebay about it.

it is 100% a metal pack. you werent conned as this is how this version comes.
the person probaly doesnt know the difference between a metalpak and steelbook or they just listed it as a steelbook

Sorry I wasn't clear enough, I mean conned as in a fake release. The spine is really weird! Not like any other steelbook variant I had, just checking it was at least official!

And the eBay listing said SteelBook/Metal case so I had an inkling and it doesn't bother me but yeah. I'll post pictures of the spine

thats how metakpaks are.

i have kill bill 2 dutch metalpak as well and was pretty shocked when i first saw the spine.

Aha! My other non steelbook is a Viva Metal something then, and not a Metal Pak. Oh well, I love it anyway, the front looks so much better than the French steel, no French writing and it was insanely cheap!
