Blu-ray Knight

Something that I've noticed recently after doing a firmware update on my Sony players. I'm not sure if it's something with the tv I have or if it's the blu ray player. It happens at times during action scenes, and scenes where the camera moves quickly. Does this problem sound familiar to anyone? I have a Sony BDP S380 and a new Vizio 720p 32 inch hooked up with an HDMI. I had the settings set to 24fps, but have turned that setting off, but the split second freezing is still occuring.
