Excellent show, although...

[Show spoiler]They didn't really end it, so much as they cancelled it before ending it with an actual ending.

Definitely on my must buy list for TV box sets.

Yea,
[Show spoiler]I know there was originally supposed to be a 4th season but while they were making season 3 the show was given the ax so the producers had to scramble. Apparently there was talk of an HBO movie to give it a proper farewell but that never happened.

Still one of my top 10 favorite shows ever!

Alien, Star Wars, and (soon enough) Indy. A quick thanks to the geek gods for the bookstyle packaging

Lord of the Rings Extended Editions

Excepting the length of the sleeves, the complete collection of Lost is pretty sweet

The Alien Anthology set would be my choice as well simply because it's the sexiest in my collection and it truly is a definitive release.

Alien Anthology

Mission Impossible pack is barebones, Lord of the Rings has the green tint, Star Wars has tons of DNR and way too many revisions. Vengeance trilogy is good but not many bells and whistles.

I would say overwhelmingly Battlestar Galactica if I bought it as a box set, but I bought the individual seasons for $20 a pop. 80+ hrs of entertainment for $100. Woo.

Being a sci-fi junkie I really wanted to like Battlestar Galactica and I did until about halfway through season 2. As soon as it became a soap opera, as many TV shows tend to, I had a hard time staying interested. I also never got over the fact that they made Boomer a woman.

Doesn't bother me. Never had any real attachment to the original show.
