I remember sneaking into the movie theater to see this. I was but a pup at the time. It was definitely an eye opener.

Really, they couldn't have just done a triple feature? Unless this has some exclusives which I highly doubt and a really great transfer I'll just hold onto my boxset with holographic cover.

No way I'm passing up on this one. The DVD transfers have always been lacking on this movie so it will be cool to see a proper HD transfer. I'd love all 3 but I'll just hang onto my set for those I guess. Very cool news.

Part III (Porky's Revenge) would be a welcome addition to Blu-ray, but I never really liked Porky's II: The Next Day. Part II deviated too far away from what made the original so fun and memorable. Hell, Porky wasn't even in part II. Porky's Revenge went back to the basics.

i never saw Porky's 3 but i agree part 2 was pretty bad... i had the double feature DVD w/ 1 & 2 but i was glad to get rid of that to upgrade the first movie to hi-def, esp. w/ the added bonus features...

just got done watching the commentary, was quite surprised how much of this movie was based on real-life experiences...

Tom Hanks was in He Knows You're Alone(1980). Granted, it wasn't a large role, but not exactly a throwaway role either. I only know this because I love horror films.

Bachelor Party was released in 1984.
