Default would there be any difference in quality?

i just noticed this blu ray player, im dying for a region free one: http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-bl...full-hd-1080p/
i currently have a sony s370
would there be any difference in quality of picture, speed etc or are they just brand names?
thanks

The only notable differences that I can think of are between load times and features (both of which are better on the s370). However, the Kogan player would serve well as a second option, considering its 1080p quality and region-free playback. It's also relatively cheap, so I'm sure you can find a great deal for it if you compare prices on various websites.

Here's a review for more on the Kogan blu-ray player:
