Default Sweet Blu Ray Spots

Today was a good day , I walked into one of the only rental places left in my town that I have never been in before and found a HUGE amount of blus for sale at EXTREMELY low prices. They were used, but most in brand new condition and with slips. I got Machete with slip for $7 and The Rum Diary with slip for $3. They also had Casa De Mi Padre for $7 and The Three Stooges for $7. crazy good prices.

Anybody else ever just stumble into a place like this or ever find crazy good deals unexpectedly?

There are a few spots I regularly haunt that tend to have some gems I don't see elsewhere for next to nothing. Bought things like LA Confidential ($8), Gone Baby Gone ($5), Winter's Bone ($5), Iron Man ($10).

I miss the Blockbuster's and Rogers Video's in my city though, they are all gone. Netflix took pliers and a blowtorch to those mofos.

I see you found some duds for cheap, but did you find any titles worth watching repeatedly?

basically he sells any extra rental copies for $3 to $7, he splits up the combos so he makes more profit. the guy has a wide variety. Personally I liked Machete and Rum Diary and will watch them multiple times, I singled out casa de mi padre and three stooges because they were just released and where else can you get them for $7?

Just recently, I was at a place called Dollar Bazar in Downtown Newark, NJ, and to my surprise, they had 3 movies on Blu-ray (a handful of copies of each too), all brand new, and for $1.99 each. The movies included Submarine, Sarah's Key, and Hellraiser: Revelations. I scooped up all 3. I hope they add more movies eventually...

Amoeba Music in Hollywood. Hell of a movie section in there. Other than that, I haven't stumbled across any places worth a revisit. Blockbuster is sporadic with their good deals.
