What are the pros and cons of stacking subwoofers?
I've been toying with the idea of taking my right rear sub and putting it on top of my left rear corner sub. Or maybe placing them side by side. The right rear position is not really a corner. Here's my floorplan. |

I have four subs stacked in two stacks of two in the front corners. I would have preferred to place them as per the JBL white paper, one in each of the four wall midpoints. The problem is I don’t have the room for it. The two stacks are tamed by a Velodyne SMS-1 sub equalizer and the results are amazing.
