Default Anybody here stack there subwoofers?

What are the pros and cons of stacking subwoofers?

I've been toying with the idea of taking my right rear sub and putting it on top of my left rear corner sub.
Or maybe placing them side by side.
The right rear position is not really a corner.

Here's my floorplan.

I actually tried that during my sub crawl. I ended up creating a null by raising one of them up.

How many and what brand/model of subwoofers do you have in your HT?

I have four subs stacked in two stacks of two in the front corners. I would have preferred to place them as per the JBL white paper, one in each of the four wall midpoints. The problem is I don’t have the room for it. The two stacks are tamed by a Velodyne SMS-1 sub equalizer and the results are amazing.

Instead of stacking the rear subs, how about putting the right rear sub, along side the left rear sub, in the left rear corner. What are the benefits, if any, of coupling the rear subs?

The only way I could stack mine is if I purchased a water cooler rack and set up my cylinder subs sideways.......like 2 canons.
