Default Any SubMersive HP owners?

I recently upgraded to a 133" screen and BenQ W6000 projector, but now what I feel is lacking is my subwoofer (Polk DSW Pro 600). I was pretty convinced on getting a PB13-Ultra but I have heard rave reviews on the SubMersive HP. I am about 80/20 movies/music, and this will be for a living room not a dedicated media room. I was looking to limit myself to $2k, but will get the SubMersive if it is really that much better. Any input? Thanks!

I've got a pair of them, haven't hooked up the second yet, hoping to get around to that on the weekend. I'm very happy with my choice of subwoofers, can't see you being disappointed with the SubM HP.

The SubMersive HP is a killer sub. I replaced two Velodyne DD-18s' coupled with dual SVS PB (or PC or ??)-13's (or something like that) with dual SubMersives and it was no contest. Before that I had 4 other SVS Subs (one of which they no longer manufacturer but was a ginormous sub and sounded really spectacular -- see attached photo -- It had 4 12 inch drivers) which were not even in the same ballpark, more Velodynes, some custom subs and a few I can't remember.

Unfortunately, I had the subs place asymmetrically and I am a bit OCD so ended up with two more SubMersives and then upgraded all of them to the HP version.

I won't claim the SubMersive is the best sub in the known and unknown universe, but it is up there near or at the top!!
