oka so i was just thinking from what i know movie station like tnt ect. have to do there own scans of films and broadcast then in hd,(if thats correct) would they just be able to just buy a blu-ray pc drive rip movie then lower bit rate and change to there lower specs and broadcast(with the consent of the movie studios and all ip holders) but would that not make it essier for broad casters to broadcast hd?
or would making there own scan of film essier? |

They are provided with a master tape for airing, then the channel does their own processing/compression for their broadcast signal. |
