Is it not available from anywhere else in HD? Just curious. I recall being immensely irritated by Momentum buying the UK rights to The Reef (great shark film) and it only coming out on dvd. Luckily a German english friendly bd saved the day.

Done. One of my favorite horror films of all time. A US release would be even better!

That's not quite true. There's a Swedish release and a Taiwanese release. The latter has English subs but it's a garbage upscale that actually looks worse than the US DVD. And yes, I've (regretfully) bought and watched it.

Oh my god! Thank you so much for this petition. You've read my mind. I scour the interwebs regularly for news of this blu-ray release and nothing. Only this evening I find this petition which is at least something. I'm a huge horror fan and this movie is one of the best of the New French Extremity. All the other good ones are out on blu-ray with great transfers and yet nothing for this. Somebody has dropped the ball badly. This should have pride of place in my official collection but I cannot add a DVD, even for this movie. So it sits there awkwardly in no man's land. I hope Momentum wake up on this or pass the reins to someone who can.

Done. Never seen or heard of this film, but I did it to keep you happy

On a similar note, maybe we should start a thread where people put ongoing petitions for certain films on there and people can sign for them if they want? How does anyone else feel about that?

My Taiwan BD of this film arrived today, and I am very disappointed.
Terrible PAL to NTSC conversion upscaled to 1080P. That's what ya get when ordering something without knowing anything about the company who releases it. So this is going in the trash, unless someone here wants it. All you pay is the shipping.

I finally found a store that had the Swedish edition, so I ordered that. Then I signed this petition, so everyone can get a chance to watch this film in a language they understand. The Swedish edition will do fine for me, but I know both Swedish and Norwegian. It's incredibly annoying that every single release of this film is oriented only around the country it's released in (except the Taiwanese of course, but that release is crap anyways). If the German BD had English subtitles for example, at least everyone who lives in PAL-land who understands English would be able to watch it.

Probably a lot better than the Taiwan BD. It's got so much motion judder it'll make your eyes bleed.

Chuck it on eBay. Ensure the word horror is in the title and add reassurance in the description that its an official release and mention that its hard to obtain and that there's no blu-ray release for it in the US, UK etc. start the bid at $5 if you really don't care and I'm willing to bet you'll get a good amount for it. No point wasting money that could go towards a better blu-ray.
