Pre-ordered the steelbook but i don't like the cover art for it much.Anyway the movie was epic.Can't wait to see it again.

99.9% sure its region b locked. all momentum uk blu rays are region b locked so doubt this one will be any different

It's momentum pictures, their blus are always around that price when they first come out.

i would imagine it does. all momentum blu rays come with the short 3/4 slipcovers

I rewatched this tonight and thought it was awesome again. Le Bouf is great in this.

I agree, thought Guy Pearce was brilliant too. Great picture aswell.

Yeah he was definitely a pleasant surprise. Don't think I've ever seen him do anything that's pushed him as an actor like this film did. Everyone was really good in this film, and it was beautifully shot, but for some reason the film didn't completely work for me. I really enjoyed it at the start, but found I liked the characters less and less as the film went on.

I think it may have been because of the violence. Some of it I found a bit extreme to the point where I couldn't really root for characters that would do such things. Killing someone is one thing but causing someone long-lasting agonising pain in the process, no matter what they did... well I just found them harder to root for. It must be in the execution (no pun intended) of either the characters or the violence because I watch plenty of violent films and have never had a problem.

I'd have to watch it again to be sure exactly what it was that didn't work for me but for now a 3/5.
