Blu-ray Samurai

I am in the United States, I would really like to get the uncut version of Casino Royale (2006), and I'd like to get it from Australia!
I know there are two editions: 1-disc standard and 2-disc Collector's/Deluxe/Limited/whatever-you-call-it I'd love to have the special features but the most important thing for me is that the film is uncut. I know the single disc edition is uncut. Is the 2-disc edition also the uncut version of the film? If so I would love to get the 2-disc! Thanks for the help! If anyone could also direct me to any sites, or provide me with links to where I can purchase whichever edition I need I would be very grateful! ![]() Last edited by JohnCarpenterLives; 01-31-2013 at 06:52 PM. |

I wish you luck. It sold out quite quickly. I snapped it up straight away when it was released. It never went for less than around $30 when it was in stock (I got mine for $29.84 the week of release) and being that it's quite sought after I expect you'll be paying quite a premium to get it. Our standard release is uncut though. The main differences between the two are change of codec for the audio (LPCM on the original, TrueHD on the re-release), second disc of features, slipbox and a booklet. Depends on what your priorities are. If you just want the film uncut then the standard release will do the trick. |

I recently bought a single disc copy from JB Hi-Fi. It came with DTS-HD MA 5.1. I was surprised since blu-ray.com stated LPCM/TrueHD.

That's the Fox re-release. Sony handled the Blu-ray release originally but the rights went back to Fox and they released it again when Bond 50 came out.
