I have two home theater systems:
Panasonic 3D 5.1 Blu-ray home theater (main one) Sony 5.1 (secondary). It comes with 5 speakers and a subwoofer and the receiver, no DVD player. I connected the red and white composite cables from the Sony receiver to the Panasonic Blu-ray player and I did the speaker test and no sound came from the Sony receiver. I know the Sony receiver works because I am currently listening to music on it from my PC. Is it possible to connect both of them? Where do I begin? Thanks. |

You connected the Panasonic output to the Sony input? If so, you should hear the disc playing on the Panasonic system through the Sony speakers.
Where does the speaker test come into play? You will not hear the Panasonic test on the Sony speakers. If you don't hear the Sony test on the Sony speakers, you have a bigger problem. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 2 Last edited by BIslander; 02-07-2013 at 01:26 PM. |
