Default 'Die Hard 6'

Quote:
Bruce Willis Says 'Die Hard 6' Is In Development

Briefly: A Good Day to Die Hard hasn’t opened yet, and the people who have seen it are heavily embargoed, but there’s already talk of a sixth film in the franchise. Appearing on the One Show on BBC, Bruce Willis was asked if a sixth film would come to pass. According to Bleeding Cool, he simply smiled and said “yes.”

We’ve got nothing more than that, but I would trust Willis, as one of the powers behind the series, to speak with more authority than your average actor about the possibility of a sequel. That could always change if the new film opens poorly. But Fox has aggressively marketed the movie, and done a good job of creating anticipation. As to whether the film holds up, well… I haven’t seen it. We’ll see. The only questions might be who will directs, and what clever naming device will fit “die hard” into the title?

I hope to see Bonnie Bedelia back for part six to bring the franchise full circle.

Well shit, Die Hard 5 has got to open bigger than The Last Stand (8/10) and Bullet To The Head! Otherwise Hollywood will be calling time on the action-hero genre for the over 60's!

Someone asked Bruce if a sixth film could be made, and he says "yes"? What did you expect him to say? I don't see a story here. Seems like we're getting ahead of ourselves a bit. He said a while ago he wanted to do a sixth. That doesn't mean it's In Development.

Some actors complain about typecasting, but Bruce doesn't seem to mind. Like Sean Connery once said, "first, you have to be good enough that they ask you to do it again".

Sometime back I remember reading an article where Willis said he wanted to make two more Die Hard movies. And we're getting the first one of those two next week.

True to that. I was surprised at the low numbers for them given its a slow time of yr and not much to choose from. With DH, the runtime concerns me as wella s coming out on Valentines weekend. What a sell that has to be to your significant other- " I love u honey. Lets go see John McClane blow shit up."

Well I guess McClane isn't getting killed off in 'Good Day' then. Way to spoil the ending Bruce!

[Show spoiler]

Although honestly said as a joke, it's kind of true.
